![]() * Have they implemented V-syncing in NES emulation, to stop screen tearing? Playing Zelda 2 on a super old version of ? (the emulator with the Mario 2 theme), the screen-tearing at the start with the pillars is unacceptable. I assume you have now updated your emulator collection as older versions may not have had this option?īy the way, the MD has a screen resolution of 320x200 so 640x400 should do the trick. I can't speak for all the emulators but Xport's have an option to set to the original ratio, you have to press one of the buttons (X, IIRC) on the re-size screen. What is the correct resolution for the MD to be running at? I cannot be trusted with freedom of choice. Emulator authors should never trust Joe Public with resizing their own screens - give me the default, correct ratio. I tried 640x480 but this created scrolling distortion when the screen moved, meaning it's wrong somehow. ![]() How I'm supposed to know what to change it to. ![]() * Why the HELL do they trust me to resize my emulator screen on my own, without leaving a default correct value to choose from? Like with the MD/SCD. Just turn it off or choose your preferred filter. Many emulators (especially Xport emus) have some sort of filter enabled by default. * Have the coders fixed the bluring problems, or are Xbox emus still Vaseline-O-Vision? ![]()
